Role: Supply & Demand Specialist

Location: Karachi

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement the supply demand framework to optimize the overall Supply Chain.
  • Formulate the S&OP process and lead the implementation
  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and delivery teams to determine stock requirements across the supply chain.
  • Suggest solutions for process improvements for optimizing the supply chain and reduce costs.
  • Identify process bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely manner
  • Work with sourcing, finance and sales teams to determine optimized supply chain and channels.
  • Run analyses of customer group/concept growth potential to identify local opportunities and recommend localized strategy in collaboration sales and sourcing teams.
  • Provide rolling update on forecast and deviation from current plan of demand and inventory levels to proactively identify needed actions (short, mid, and long term) on sourcing, and stock management.

Requirement

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business or Engineering
  • 2-3 years of supply/demand planning experience, preferably in the FMCG sector.
  • Understanding of the S&OP cycle.
  • Basic understanding of the fresh produce value chain is a plus.
  • Broad understanding of logistics & warehouse operations.
  • Strong analytical skills and expertise in MS Excel
